Cookie policy
What cookies tilewright.co.uk uses, which ones need your consent, and how to manage or remove them in your browser.
This site uses very few cookies, and we intend to keep it that way. A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device: some are necessary for the site to function, others are optional. This page explains which is which on tilewright.co.uk, and the choices you have.
Essential cookies
Essential cookies are always on, because the site cannot work safely without them. They protect our quotation and enquiry forms against spam and automated abuse, and keep a form submission tied to the person who actually filled it in. They contain no personal information, are not used for tracking, and expire when you close your browser or shortly afterwards. Because they are strictly necessary, they do not require your consent.
Analytics, only with your consent
If you press accept on our cookie banner, we set analytics cookies that show us which pages visitors find useful and where the site could be clearer. IP addresses are anonymised before anything is stored, and we never use analytics data to identify an individual visitor. If you press decline, no analytics cookies are set and the site works exactly the same.
Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, so we do not have to ask you on every visit. If you clear your browsing data, that saved choice goes with it and the banner will simply ask again.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings, usually under privacy or site data. You are welcome to do so at any time; just be aware that blocking the essential cookies may stop our forms from working.
