Full bathroom tiling means exactly that: walls, floors, bath panels, window reveals, recessed niches and boxed-in pipework, tiled as one considered scheme. Tilewright takes on the complete job, from stripping out the old tiles and making good the walls to the final neat bead of silicone. Every project is carried out by a time-served tiling specialist and covered by our insurance-backed 10-year workmanship guarantee.

How we approach the work
Good tiling starts long before the adhesive is mixed. We check every background is sound, flat and dry, board over timber where needed, and prime porous surfaces. Shower areas are tanked with a waterproof membrane before a single tile goes on, because tiles and grout alone are not waterproof. Then we set the room out dry: centring tiles on the main sightlines, avoiding slivers of cut tile in corners, and keeping courses level around baths and windows. We use flexible adhesive matched to the tile and background, choose spacer sizes to suit the tile format, and add movement joints where larger floors meet walls or other materials.
Why it matters
A bathroom is the hardest-working room in the house. Steam, splashes and daily footfall find every shortcut, so the difference between tiling that lasts five years and tiling that lasts thirty is mostly in the preparation and setting-out you never see. That is where time-served experience earns its keep.

Questions tilers actually get
Do you strip out the old tiles first?▾
Yes. Removing the old tiles lets us inspect and make good the walls and floor beneath, which is where lasting tiling really starts. Any repairs or boarding needed will be set out clearly in your written quotation.
How long does a full bathroom take to tile?▾
It depends on the size of the room, the tile format and drying times for tanking and adhesive. A typical family bathroom takes from several days to a couple of weeks, and your quotation will include a realistic timescale for your particular job.
Do I have to pay everything up front?▾
No. We work on a deposit-and-balance basis and never ask for full payment up front. The balance is due once the work is finished and you are happy with it.
